FAU’s Brain Institute will celebrate “Brainy Days 2021” beginning Tuesday, March 2 through Saturday, March 27. The monthlong virtual celebration of neuroscience strives to engage, empower and educate the public about brain diseases and ultimately reduce the stigma associated with brain disorders.“Brainy Days,” is sponsored by the Palm Health Foundation. The Dana Foundation, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, and the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium provided additional support.

The FAU Brain Institute unveiled a new van that delivers on-the-go neuroscience lessons. Neuroscientists are the driving
force behind the MobileMinds program, created to engage students in Title I schools, teachers in workshops and underserved communities in South Florida. The program is part of the already-existing
program called Advancing STEM-community Engagement through Neuroscience Discovery, in partnership with the Stiles-Nicholson Foundation and Palm Health Foundation.
