Did you know we had a reading program at NOHO FUMC?

There is a special section of the library in the Lounge where the Reading Program books can be found,

I have put 5 or 6 books from each category in an empty cabinet in the Hand-in-Hand room. If you would like to look over the books in this Mini Library or the big library in the Lounge, please see me during the fellowship time after the church service and I can open these rooms for you.

There is so much more to tell about the Library and the Reading Program. Talk to me in person or wait for my next article in The Good News.

From your church librarian,

Bill Varney fell and broke his hip. He is recuperating at St. Joseph Medical Center, following surgery. He is keeping his spirits up and is grateful that God has blessed him with time on this earth.

Please lift us Byron and DeAnne Hayes. DeAnne was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

Roger Eshleman's sister, Joan Velde, is home and recuperating after a bought of pneumonia. Prayers for Joan, as she continues her cancer treatment.

Jeff Thomas' brother, Isaac, is facing very serious health issues.

Lift up our black communities. For the elimination of racism in all forms: individual and systemic (institutional and structural).

We pray for those struggling financially.

Pray for parents who are juggling home school with their children.

Prayers for our medical professionals and those who are in essential services.

We pray for our world and our leaders. We lift up our country.

We pray for our seniors and elderly. May they get their Covid-19 vaccinations without major frustration.

Prayers for those detained in detention centers.

The United Methodist Church during this time of change.
Prayers for those out of work and searching for a job.

Prayers for those with mental illness and depression.
Prayer for our neighborhood, our state, our nation, and the world. As well as our leaders.
Patty's Cousin, Tiffany Valentine, and family, finally found a church in Vegas, right by their home and have been attending for a few Sundays. They are feeling a shift and turn around in their lives. Especially, for Penelope (14), who was having a very difficult time.
Thank you for your prayers!

Please let us know your JOYS!
Lets celebrate with praise and thanks!
