Dear Member, Supporter, Stakeholder,
We are almost there!
Our Competitive, High Performance and All Abilities programs are back on the field at Kinsmen Park. In the next 1-3 weeks our full compliment of Recreational programs from U3 to Women’ League play will be back playing and training at fields across the City of Pickering. In due course we’ll get around to thanking certain people for getting us to this point but right now we remain focused on a SAFE and ENJOYABLE return to play.
We’ve also been busy in the background working to make your Club better so look out for further announcements across the Summer!
COMPETITIVE players are still required to complete the Sports Engine app prior to each session and confirm they are not a COVID19 risk. These records are kept by the Club for contact tracing purposes, team staff will remind players if they have not completed the app.
RECREATIONAL players will have received a detailed email that includes their schedule, field location and Return to Play protocols. Players are also required to confirm in the Sports Engine app that they are not a COVID19 risk. Look out for a specific webinar in the next week that focuses on further details for Creekside and Woodlands field venues.
Don’t forget, be mindful of the City of Pickering Noise By-law, and abide by any parking by-laws. With a year of rest the City fields are in the best condition we’ve seen them in for a long time so please make sure we leave them as we find them.
