Alumni and Friends Newsletter | June 2023

To Our Graduates,

On behalf of myself and Springfield Technical Community College, I’d like to congratulate each and every one of you on your great accomplishment! We’re so very proud of all that you’ve done during your time at STCC, and we wish you the best as you begin this next phase in your life.

Your academic contributions, your dedication to our college organizations and groups, and your desire to continuously learn and innovate have been invaluable to the college, and we are grateful for the legacy that you’re leaving behind.

As you begin your careers or continue your studies, we know that you’ll be well prepared to lead in your perspective fields and continue to pioneer solutions to the grand challenges facing today’s society. Although you’re graduating, you will always be a member of the STCC family. We encourage you to stay connected with our college, join the Alumni Association, and give back by supporting our programs and scholarships. The continued involvement of our alumni strengthens our college and the STCC community.

We are so fortunate to have forward thinking, dedicated students. I am confident that as you embark on your next adventure, the path you blaze will continue to make our college proud.

We sincerely hope that you’ve enjoyed your time at STCC, and we cannot wait to see all that you accomplish after graduation.

Congratulations again!

Sincerely,

Jennifer Brown

FOR GRADUATING STUDENT, SUPPORT AT STCC HELPED HIM SUCCEED

Drew Torres says he would not have made it to graduation this spring if not for the strong support network at Springfield Technical Community College.

“The support system is the only reason I made it to where I am today,” he said.

Torres also received help from other STCC programs such as TRIO Student Support Services, which helps students adjust to the college environment. He was a member of the Male Initiative for Leadership and Education (MILE) program and he also received scholarships through the STCC Foundation.

Are you a Ram Warrior?

Make an immediate and consistent impact on the future of STCC students today by enrolling in the Rams Warrior Society!

Many alumni and friends of the college have already enrolled, and represent STCC’s most loyal donors, those who make their annual gifts in monthly installments. Their impact on students as they transform their lives is incredible, consistent, and allows STCC to forecast support.
Your consistent gift allows the college to direct student support on a predictable basis, which for us is invaluable. The Rams Warrior Society is truly shaped by the leading philanthropists at the college – not only do they support our students, but their consistency allows us to better budget financial aid for our students.
"I truly believe that the mission of STCC is among the most important in Greater Springfield. What the school does for the long term growth of individuals and the region is immeasurably important. Springfield centric, regionally focused, the school prepares young people of all ages to build our economy. STCC, its administration, its staff, and its students play a key role for the future, and they are all worth investing in."
