• The number of unemployed individuals increased by 2,760 from the previous month

• The top three unemployment claimant occupations were office and administrative support, protective service & management

• El Paso, TX MSA unemployment was at 5.1% with a total of 19,660 unemployed individuals
• El Paso, TX MSA added 5,900 nonfarm jobs since July 2022
• El Paso, TX MSA lost 900 nonfarm jobs from the previous month

Rural Counties (Brewster, Culberson, Jeff Davis, Hudspeth, and Presidio Counties)

• The labor force increased by 134 from the previous month
• The number of employed individuals increased by 94 from the previous month
• The number of unemployed individuals increased by 40 from the previous month
