Join your fellow creatives as Arts Biz Miami takes you on a deep dive into innovative activations in the creative ecosystem. Get the inside scoop on cultural programs that intersect with climate change, diversity, accelerating the creative workforce, engaging collectors, corporate synergy and arts youth engagement that changes lives. Explore best practices, new ways of connecting and learn about some awesome ideas. This session is an innovative, interactive morning that is all about exploring inspired ideas with our collective brain trust. Tickets are $35 and can be found via this link.

Phase 1: FAAE is currently in the process of collecting profiles from Teaching Artists. Artists and managers are encouraged to "Sign Up" to create an account and enter their Artist Profile(s).

Phase 2: Upon collecting a number of Artist Profiles, the Search Engine will be made available for those looking for teaching artists to contact about possible guest teaching opportunities.

Broward: Broward Cultural Division’s Public Art & Design program is seeks qualified individuals to serve on the Artist Selection Panel.
They'd love to hear from those interested in applying for the Public Art & Design Artist Selection Panel! Applications close: 7/2.

Leon: COCA announces their FY22 grant programs, the COCA Cultural Grant and the Cultural Tourism Marketing Grant (info here: https://www.tallahasseearts.org/classified/coca-grant-programs-fy22/.

They have also secured a cross-promotional partnership with Bay Arts Alliance to share selected events across their respective calendars to increase event participation and tourism in North Florida. Visit COCA’s calendar and resources at www.tallahassseearts.org.  

Sarasota: Selby Gardens broke ground on Selby Gardens' Master Plan for the Downtown Sarasota campus! They're excited to share this momentous event with you in the video below.
If you were unable to attend the Virtual Annual Convention curated and hosted by Americans for the Arts, you can still access the sessions in a couple of weeks.

It was an impressive array of 24 inspiring and educational sessions and over 50 speakers.

Arts Administrators of Color Network (AAC) is seeking proposals from consulting firms or independent consultants for the development of an actionable and measurable multi-year strategic plan. The strategic planning process should provide structure on positioning for the future which should include:
  • analyzing the organization’s mission and vision, and values; 
  • developing annual work plans for the board and future staff members; and, 
  • identifying business development opportunities, including membership structuring and recruitment, and fundraising strategies. 
Proposals must be received no later than July 1, 2021. Please share with your networks.
