ANNOUNCEMENTS Tuesday, October 20 is a Mass Day for Sophomores. ALL Sophomores are required to wear their dress uniforms on Tuesday. Report Cards for quarter one were emailed last Wednesday afternoon. In addition, you can always access report cards by going to ParentsWeb, select your student, then click Report Card.  Important information for Virtual Students at the bottom of this email!

Dear Parents,  Homecoming week is next week and we are excited to celebrate! Please click here to read the important guidelines for the Homecoming Week dress down days. For the Homecoming game, we are raffling 50 tickets to our senior class. Raffle will open Monday afternoon. We successfully tested most of our underclassmen for the PSAT on Wednesday. We appreciate your patience at pick up, as the test unexpectedly ran longer than anticipated. We will test the rest of our underclassmen on Saturday. What a Week in Athletics

BMC Girls Golf 2020 District Runner Up! BMC Boys Golf 2020 District Champs!

This week for Hornet Athletics: Varsity boys golf brought home the District Championship while our Varsity girls golf brought home District Runner-up. Both teams will advance to the Regional Tournament next week. BMC will host both boys and girls golf regionals at Dubsdread Golf Course. Varsity girls volleyball won against Montverde Academy in the District Semi's to advance on to play rival Lake Highland Prep in the Championship. Then, BMC hosted the volleyball District Championship and fell short to the Highlanders 3-1. Lady Hornets will advance on to Regionals next week. Freshman Football had their season opener on Thursday night against Father Lopez winning 13-7. Winter sports have officially begun as our Girls weightlifting started their tryouts this week. Boys and girls soccer will start tryouts on Monday, Oct. 19th. If your student is trying out for Winter sports, please make sure you have completed your profile on Athletic Clearance and have been cleared. For more information please click here.

Virtual Students Corner

BMC is offering the opportunity for students who started a quarter attending classes on campus to change to virtual classes mid-quarter. The request may only be made one time per school year unless there is an extenuating medical circumstance. (If so, please contact Nurse Smith for further information.) The request must be submitted no less than 7 calendar days in advance of the day the student wishes to attend classes virtually.
