This year's event theme highlights the many members in our area making our communities exceptional.

The first of many stories is UEC Member Marilynn Colcord and her Ladies Night Out group. Featured in the January issue of Ruralite Magazine, it is a perfect example of the power of community, and the power of people.

UEC Board Votes to Return $6 million in Capital Credits

Members who purchased power in 2019 and 2021 will receive a refund check in the mail later this month as part of UEC's Capital Credits program.

Refunds are based on the amount of electricity purchased during the specified years. Amounts of less than $10 will not be mailed, but rather retained in the member’s Capital Credits account until it surpasses that amount in a future distribution.
