Wilkes Honors College Faculty Recognized For Study Abroad Excellence

Carmen Canete-Quesada, Ph.D., associate professor of Spanish at the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, has been named Study Abroad Faculty Leader of the Year by FAU’s Center for Global Engagement for her efforts in planning and running the University’s Madrid program, and for developing the first FAU Cuba faculty-led program. She was recognized Thursday, November 19, at the 2020 International Education Week Virtual Reception. Congratulations, Dr. Canete-Quesada!

Thirteen judges from across FAU critiqued more than 150 photographs submitted for this year’s Art of Science photo contest. Hosted by the Division of Research, this is the second year of the contest, aimed at highlight the cutting-edge research scholarship and creative activity taking place in the field, in the lab and across all disciplines at FAU. Palm Beach Roundtable Luncheon
