SHARE:

As our world remains enshrined in amber--a "new normal" of face masks and social-distancing--the arts continue to provide new ways to bring us together--in spirit if not in person. As we look forward to the time when we can come back together in our galleries, we invite you to enjoy new virtual offerings from the Bowdoin College Museum of Art: an online version of Fast Fashion/Slow Art provides a new opportunity for engagement with a ground-breaking exhibition. A new "Young Learners" resource provides opportunities for young audiences to engage with Museum collections. We also share information about our ongoing work to build the museum's collection through the addition of historic and contemporary art-taking advantage of virtual studio visits! We miss seeing you and hope that you are finding time to enjoy the pleasures of summer as you keep yourselves in good health and in good spirits.

Virtual Studio Visits with the Collectors Collaborative

Undeterred by the global health crisis, the Collaborative moved ahead with its program this spring. Instead of arranging customary in-person studio visits, the members met virtually with two artists via Zoom.
