“And the nice thing about writing a novel is you take your time, you sit with the character sometimes nine years, you look very deeply at a situation, unlike in real life when we just kind of snap something out.” –Sandra Cisneros
| “And eventually as I kept writing it, something emerged that was not quite me but a version of me.” –Larry David | |
Peregrinations is a collection of poems that explore the diversity of what a 'poem' can be. There are the expected love poems, narratives, some serious, some silly, and others introspective.
Rhyme, meter and form are wide ranging and noticeable without necessarily being recognizable.
Such a broad scope, as the title word does imply 'journeys', Peregrinations is published without direct attribution to encourage readers to see where they might glimpse their own reflection.
Peregrinations is available at 'That's Novel Books', Camp North End, Sardis Marketplace (South Charlotte), and Kushi World Bazaar in Fort Mill.
