With more information than ever before, we know you’ll find the

On this Golden day at the Olympics we wanted to share our Pickering Football Club connections with some phenomenal athletes. Many of you will be aware that our women’s Olympic soccer team is well represented with Jayde Riviere, Kailen Sheridan, and Nichelle Prince all playing for the Club during their formative years.

We couldn’t be prouder of the incredible athletes and fantastic role models these women have become. Global TV actually dropped by the Club on Tuesday and interviewed our coaches and players about what this means for them and for the game. Take a look HERE.
Not many people will know this, but this popular VISA advert where Christine Sinclair kicks the ball out of the stadium and it lands in the swimming pool, on the track, and on a climbing wall was mostly filmed at the Pickering Soccer Centre. The athletes gathered one cold, early morning in February 2020 to film scenes that culminated in the final dribble and shot into the net!

The four athletes; Andre De Grasse, (Athletics), Christine Sinclair (Football) and Sean McColl (Rock Climbing) have all had an incredible Olympics, with Andre and Christine both striking Gold.
We’re now rooting for Aurelie Rivard (Para Swimming) who will compete in the Paralympics starting on August 24th.

So, when you’re out at the fields this week continue to provide positive support for our players and coaches; the next Canadian Olympian might just be on the field in front of you!

What equipment will I need to purchase for my child? 
Shin pads and soccer shoes. The registration fee for all players includes a jersey, shorts and socks. For players U3 to U12 a ball is included in the registration fee.

Join our Team

We have just started our outdoor season and are now preparing for our indoor season. Our indoor All Abilities Programs will be starting mid September and we are looking for volunteers to assist us on Monday evenings 6:00 - 7:00 pm, and Saturday mornings 9:00 - 11:00 am.

Our program’s success comes mainly from our dedicated and motivated young volunteer leaders who serve as volunteer mentors and coaches to our athletes. As a volunteer with our PFC All Abilities Program,  you will receive specialized training and the opportunity to make a difference in our community. Join our team to help us continue to bring much needed sports programs to the many children and youth in our community, who may never get a chance to play and have fun in a sports environment.

Our NEW Volunteer training will be taking place on Thursday August 26, 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the Pickering Soccer Centre. Bring a friend! Because what’s more fun than sharing a fantastic experience with your Best Friend?

Ontario Soccer is hosting its 2021 Match Official Clinics online. There is space available in these clinics and for more information on how to register please CLICK HERE.

There are user guides for students to review to help with the registration process and the expectations of the clinics. When registering you will be asked to identify a Club so please remember to enter Pickering FC! 

Once you register we will add you to our contact list to keep in touch with you regarding PFC Match Official Education Sessions and updates on the 2021 Outdoor season.
Community Programs* are suspended until we have confirmed safe access to the Pickering Soccer Centre.  
  • Walk the Dome, every Tuesday and Thursdays (9 - 11am). COMING THIS FALL 
  • Walking Soccer, weekly on Tuesdays
  • (10:30-12pm). COMING THIS FALL
  • Adult Drop-In Soccer weekly on Sunday (8:30-10pm). COMING THIS FALL

* Covid-19 protocols and participant waivers will be in effect for all community programming
