Greetings from North Alabama,
Hard to believe it is time for another newsletter. Fall is upon us and soon the weather will change. I think many of us have been blessed to have such a great hobby to occupy our time this year. I can only imagine the progress so many have made their miniature railroad pikes and empires.
SBS4DCC has been very busy through it all and I want to thank you for trusting us to serve you. Again, I say thank you. We have remained very busy through it all and are blessed in so many ways.
There are a few new items to report about in this edition but just like most years, the fall season is pretty slow in the world of DCC and model trains. I hope you find these new items interesting and useful. I also try to plan some time off during this period to get a break from the pace of this life and this year is no exception.
I will be on vacation October 9 through October 19, 2020. The cutoff date for shippable orders is October 7, 2020. The web store will remain open and you may continue to place orders. I will resume shipping on or about October 20, 2020. Thanks for your patience and understanding as we take a much needed rest.
Our
COVID-19 Response Page continues to be updated and remains the place for status and updates about store operations. We continue to follow the best practices and state guidelines to do our part to keep you safe. We have been blessed to remain mostly unaffected by these circumstances.
As a reminder, the
SBS4DCC website features
Real-Time Stock Status. Please remember that orders for out-of-stock products will be delayed and restock information will be limited. The shipping status notice applies to in-stock product only.
This edition of the
Backshop Flyer brings lots of great news and new products for DCC so read on. The new stuff is always easy to find in the store by simply reviewing the
2020 New Products category. These categories highlight new products added to the site, not just the new releases, so they are always worth a look.
Be sure to check out the
Tutorials, Tips and Tricks section of the website. I continue to add volumes of information about different subjects I think you might find valuable.
Stop Running Trains. Start Model Railroading!
