Today is the one-year anniversary of Ontario Soccer’s suspension of all sanctioned soccer. It’s hard to believe sometimes what we’ve all been living through and the journey we still have to complete. We reflect on the quick jump to online learning back in April, the many virtual sessions with a ball and then with the X’s and O’s. We reflect on the steady Return to Play plan and presentations we made to prepare for the return safely, and then the second shutdown just as we were getting back to normality in the dome.

Now with the weather taking a positive upturn, a relatively fair winter and the steady roll out of a vaccine, we’re looking forward to a more stable Outdoor 2021. Recreational and Competitive Outdoor registrations are both live and we’ve provided a lot of great detail on our website. Please reach out to us if you can’t see the answer to your question.

We will continue to communicate regularly through family emails, website and social media and remind you to follow us and share our hashtags:

#destinationclub expresses our purpose to be the focal point for players and families that really care about a good quality soccer experience in a world class facility.

#PFCProud is our chance to shout about the achievements of players, coaches and administrators both present and past from All Abilities to League1 Ontario, and from the pitch to the board room.

#WestDurham reflects our programs that serve the City of Pickering and new neighbourhood of New Seaton, as well as our friends outside the City boundary.
Here are the program specific updates for the week ahead:

On Sunday, March 28th we will start up Season 2 for U3 to U8 with a skills program. If you have registered for Season 2 you will receive an email early next week with more details. In addition, to check out the times please click on this link https://cdn3.sportngin.com/attachments/document/d0ed-2377860/Return_to_Play_U3_to_U8.pdf#_ga=2.100478616.76638822.1615312283-1141612867.1571671429

Outdoor:
Coaches will be needed for teams in all divisions, U3 to U18, and candidates can be parents, high school students, university students and anyone else who has a love for the game and would like to be involved for 2 to 4 hours a week from May to September. High School students can earn Community Volunteer Hours by being a coach and it is a great way to add to your resume and grow your network.
