The Town of Marshfield's Board of Selectmen has voted to temporarily close all town buildings to the public until January 25, including the library building. This is due to rising cases of Covid-19 in Marshfield. This decision is also supported by our town's Board of Health. Stay tuned for more updates on our website, Facebook page, and Instagram.
Ventress Memorial Library is still open for curbside pickup of materials and to answer your reference questions at 781-834-5535. We are also pleased to offer a rich selection of e-books and e-audiobooks available on Hoopla and Overdrive, as well as online databases. Winter Read 2021 Challenge
New year, new you! The new year is a time for reflection and reinvigoration. What better way to do that than to cozy up with great new books this winter? Join #WinterRead2021 and get reading - you set your reading goal and if you make it between January 1 and March 31, you win a free book! In addition to the Winter Read 2021 Challenge, we are also starting a 1000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge. The goal of this program is to promote literacy to our youngest friends. Pick up a form at the library via curbside pick up or print out here. See if your youngster can read 1000 books!

Tween & Teen Updates
Virtual Teen Dungeons & Dragons - Winter Campaigns
We are excited to announce two all new mini campaigns this winter! Each campaign is eight sessions, with a break for Presidents Week. Teens in grades six through twelve can participate - all experience levels welcome. The Thursday campaign meets from 2:30 - 5:00 p.m. and begins on January 28. The Monday campaign runs from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. and begins on February 1. All teens must plan to attend every session and must have a D&D Beyond account and a good Zoom connection. We have a new round of Loot bags for tweens & teens (grades four to twelve).
