Calgary Jewish Federation stands shoulder to shoulder with our fellow Canadians as we mourn the devastating loss of the 22 victims in Nova Scotia's recent mass shooting. This type of senseless and horrific violence has no place in our country or anywhere in the world. At this time we are sending our love, prayers, and heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the victims, Nova Scotians, and all those grieving. Please know that we are always here to listen and connect, should you want to reach out.

Yasher Koach to the Survivors, March of the Living students, clergy, and volunteers who participated in our community Yom HaShoah commemoration video . Special thanks to Dahlia Libin, Marnie Bondar, and Paula Lexier for their help in producing the video, and for reaching out to our local Survivors and families to connect and let them know that we are thinking of them. If you missed the video, find it on our website. This page also includes several other Yom HaShoah programs and resources from around the world, including the cross-Canada commemoration. If you have questions about this program or other Holocaust education and commemoration initiatives, please contact Diana Kalef.
