SEPTEMBER 2021
Greetings!

We look forward to seeing you on campus for Alumni Weekend & Reunion NEXT WEEK! Thank you to all who have registered. It's not too late to join the celebration. In particular, we'd love to see a great turnout for our Hall of Fame and Women of Distinction ceremony, which will be held outdoors in the beautiful Formal Gardens. Here is the full list of those being honored, including retired veteran faculty members Bill Dolbee P'04, '10, Connie McCabe, and Paul Dunlop, along with former science teacher and LFA Trustee Gloria Harper P'93.

Meanwhile, LFA is fully enrolled (437 students), and we opened the 2021-22 school year with the All-School "Fist Bump/Wave" (no handshakes!) on Monday, Aug. 23. Students are getting vaccinated and are wearing masks indoors, as we strive to maintain a healthy community. We are excited to be reunited with everyone again. It's shaping up to be a great year!

And the Winner is...
We enjoyed a fabulous alumni vs. students soccer match on campus on Sunday, Aug. 22. Alumni/ae from the classes of 1971 through 2021 took on the LFA varsity squad. Thanks to lots of cheering on the sidelines from faculty, parents, alumni parents, alumni, and students, the student team prevailed, 5-2. BUT, the alumni put up a great fight. It was a terrific game. Hope to see all of you again next year!
