As we set our sights on the year ahead we are filled with excitement about where this Club can go. A record return to registration numbers following the pandemic, a brand new facility and team staff (both coaches and managers) who are arguably the most skilled and professional we have ever seen. Our players can only continue to benefit and improve from these positive influences in the Club.
Every organization needs strong leadership and the Pickering Football Club are fortunate to have a Board who continue to volunteer diligently behind the scenes. They set the direction and expectations for PFC and empower staff and coaches to meet those objectives. As we close out 2022 and prepare for our AGM in late January 2023 we want to thank and acknowledge the Board for the time and care they put into your Club. Ed, Corrado, John, Roz, Warren, Paul, and Seana we sincerely thank you for the leadership you provide.
Now with the AGM just around the corner we have three crucial board positions that need to be filled and we're seeking nominations from talented individuals in the club and community.
These are:
- Treasurer (1 year term)
- Director, Recreational - All Abilities, Recreational and Community (2 year term)
- Director, Marketing and Sponsorship (2 year term)
Both Director positions require about 3 hours each month for Board Meeting attendance and a further 2 hours for engagement with staff. The Treasurer position is an Executive role and as such requires 6 hours per month for Executive and Board meetings with a further 4 hours of staff engagement.
