You can purchase tickets to win any of the 40+ prizes, which total nearly $5,000 in value! Raffle prizes include items and gift cards from local small businesses in the Lower East Side/East Village.

La Cocina de Loisaida is a series of monthly hands-on cooking classes where we celebrate the rich cultural traditions of Puerto Rican cuisine. Longtime Lower East Side resident and local caterer María Bido shares the recipes and techniques passed down by her abuela — all based in authentic Puerto Rican flavors and ingredients from Essex Market.
This series is presented by Loisaida Inc. in partnership with Essex Market, with the collective mission to preserve and pass down culinary heritage from the Lower East Side community. We invite all ages and abilities to join us for these unique, fun, and celebratory cooking classes at Essex Market.

These plays cover the human mind and "frenzy episodes". Frenzy-Episodes are a kind of mental agitation, violent excitement, emotional breakdown, delirium and/or rage. Each play presents social issues such as drug additions, rape, domestic violence, immigration issues, LGBTT relationships, catastrophic illness, suicide, anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD-disorder, bipolarity, and social problems such as poverty or war, that lead the human being to suffer these Frenzy-episodes.
