Wildfire Safety Information from Santa Clara County Fire

Following the recent Southern California wildfires, communities are rightfully concerned about their fire risk, how to prepare for potential wildfires, and how their fire service providers are mitigating risk and preparing for the same. In response, County Fire has prepared wildfire safety information for the public.

Get Prepared: Free Emergency Preparedness Classes Offered

Resilient Los Altos is offering free classes to help residents prepare for emergencies. The full schedule of upcoming classes on topics such as building emergency kits, water safety, and personal preparedness is available online. Classes are held at the Los Altos Community Center Sequoia Room.

Residential Building Permits Now Available Online

As part of its ongoing efforts to improve customer service and streamline the permitting process, the City encourages contractors to utilize the eTRAKiT Online Permit Program. eTRAKiT allows contractors to apply for and obtain certain types of simple residential building permits online.

You're Invited: Share Your Craft at Open Mic Night

The Youth Commission is hosting its 3rd annual Open Mic Night on Friday, March 21, at 6 PM at the Los Altos Community Center—a great opportunity for young musicians, comedians, poets, and other performers to practice in front of a live audience. Registration is required for performers and attendees.
