Dietrich College Students Inducted to Phi Beta Kappa

Six Dietrich College students were joined by 13 of their peers from across the CMU campus for early initiation into the university’s chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Congratulations to Karissa Dunkerley (Information Systems), Olivia Reed (Creative Writing), Camille Chandler (Psychology), Cynthia Qjan (Psychology), Gemma Jefferson(Decision Science) and Arnav Paliwal (Statistics and Machine Learning)

Department of Psychology alumna Kaki Stergiou, vice president of client services at Super League, is a creator and publisher of games and experiences for digital platforms, where she brings brand marketing to the gaming industry through immersive virtual experiences.

Nevine Abraham, assistant teaching professor and coordinator of Arabic Studies in the Department of Languages, Cultures & Applied Linguistics, specializes in literary-cultural studies and indigeneity in Arab countries.

  • America and the World: What's Ahead After the 2024 Election? David Ignatius, a foreign affairs reporter with The Washington Post, will present during the President’s Lecture Series on Jan. 30, 2025, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Alumni and parents are invited to join via Zoom and the campus community is invited to attend in-person in Simmons Auditorium, Tepper Building. Register for the event by Jan. 28.
