SVCE Introduces New Rebate for Electric Vehicles

Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) now offers income-qualified customers a $2,000 rebate towards the purchase or lease of a new or pre-owned electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid EV. This rebate can be combined with federal and other regional EV incentives. See eligibility requirements on SVCE's website.

Feedback Requested: Woodland Library Proposed Patio Project

The Santa Clara County Library District and the Los Altos Library Endowment are holding a session to gather input on a potential expanded patio and native plant garden at Woodland Library. The session is Wednesday, October 30, from 12:30-1:30 PM at the Woodland Library. Input is encouraged.

You're Invited: Downtown Turns BOO-tiful for Halloween

On Thursday, October 31, from 12-4 PM, downtown will become BOO-tiful with lots of trick-or-treating. Merchants anticipate a bewitching time for community members in this free, family-friendly event. With an inordinate amount of trick-or-treaters, residents are reminded to drive with extra caution.

You're Invited: Annual Veterans Day Celebration

The community is invited to an event honoring veterans on Monday, November 11, from 2-4 PM, at the Los Altos Veterans Community Plaza. There will be refreshments, music, and guest speakers. Donations of canned food, undergarments, and socks will be collected during the event.
