Dear Members of the St. Francis High School Community,
We hope that you are enjoying the beautiful fall colors and having fun cheering on this season’s wonderful co-curricular activities at St. Francis High School. We have much to be thankful for at the school as we will soon enter the month of gratitude.
We want to update you on the search for the new president of St. Francis High School. After completing their review of the applications received by the September 6 submission date, members of the Presidential Search Committee conducted one-hour virtual screening interviews with selected candidates. Upon narrowing the candidate pool with these screening interviews, the entire Presidential Search Committee conducted 90-minute in-person interviews with selected candidates on a variety of critical job responsibilities. Following these in-person interviews, we retained a search firm, Christian Brothers Services, to further vet selected candidates in one-hour virtual interviews. At each stage, the candidates interviewed showed great interest in the many activities occurring at our school and in the school’s vision for the future.
With the completion of the multi-stage level of interviews and recommendations by the Presidential Search Committee and the outside search firm, the Board will begin on-site interviews of selected candidates in the next few weeks. These interviews will span the course of an entire day and include:
- Touring the school,
- Meeting key administrative personnel, faculty, and staff,
- Engaging in roundtables with Board Committees (Buildings and Grounds, Education, Advancement, and Finance Committees),
- Meeting representatives from the Alumni Association, Mothers’ Club, and Fathers’ Club, and
- Interviewing with the full Board of Directors.
We thank the members of the Presidential Search Committee for their continued efforts in interviewing and evaluating candidates. We also thank the school stakeholders who will be involved in the on-site interviews of candidates. Please keep everyone involved in the search process in your prayers as the work continues. We will share another update in the coming weeks.
