As we wrap up the Outdoor Recreational season it is important to reflect on how far the Club has come since last years challenging return to play following the pandemic. Our Recreational team - led by Administrator Dave Lord and at the field by Hollie Babut and our Grassroots Leaders - has ensured that not only did we thrive after the tough start to the year, but the Summer 2022 program has soared! We've never had so many qualified coaches out at the field supporting our newest players! While the feedback from volunteer coaches has been very positive, the Club has also been able to supplement that with a new crop of match officials and arguably the best match official mentoring program in the Region.
With Indoor Recreational registration going live today we know that spots will fill up very quickly. Please don't miss your chance to be part of PFC this Indoor season. A lot of great work has been done this summer to develop passionate soccer players and we want that to continue through the winter months. With the new dome scheduled for a March 1st opening and all the new upgrades, we have exciting plans for our return to turf and being 'first on the field'. We hope you will be there.
Following the City announcement last week the Board have met twice weekly to review the plans for the winter months. More details will be out shortly, starting with a Coach and Team Staff town hall bringing them up to speed. We will then schedule a town hall specifically for the Competitive and High Performance programs. With open house and tryouts just around the corner we are expecting another busy month in September!
