🖊️Public Comment Available for Study into Noncompete Agreements in Health Care

As directed by the Fair Contracting for Health Care Practitioners Act (act), Act 74 of 2024, the Health Care Cost Containment Council (PHC4) has begun studying the prevalence and impact of noncompete agreements in the Commonwealth.

In support of this study PHC4 will be collecting public comment for analysis and inclusion within the final report. To ensure comments are included for analysis, the comment must be received by October 21, 2024.

🏛️September 2024 Legislative Update

With this legislative session coming to an end, there was a flurry of activity on bills that relate to PAMED’s legislative priorities. One area to highlight is PAMED’s continued vigorous opposition to bills that would expand the scope of practice to non-physician providers throughout the Commonwealth.
