Saluting Malcolm Porter: A Legacy of Advocacy and Dedication to Healthcare Policy

As Public Policy Consultant, Malcolm Porter, embarks on his next journey, we extend heartfelt gratitude for 24 years of unwavering dedication to the Columbus Medical Association (CMA). Since 2000, he's been a steadfast support, offering expertise in public policy and political affairs. Malcolm's efforts have profoundly impacted our organization and healthcare community, guiding us through complex policy landscapes and advocating tirelessly for physicians and patients alike.

His attention to detail ensured swift identification and resolution of threats to medicine and patient welfare. Malcolm's leadership in organizing candidate interviews and PAC initiatives empowered members to engage with Ohio policymakers effectively. Beyond CMA, his advocacy across healthcare and other domains showcases his dedication to positive change. As Malcolm retires, we know his legacy will endure, but his absence here at CMA will be deeply felt.

Thank you, Malcolm, for your boundless energy and commitment. Best wishes for a fulfilling retirement!
