"For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when He comes? Is it not you? Indeed, you are our glory and joy.”
-- 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20

Concordia University Ann Arbor’s Class of 2023 | |
Dear fellow alumni,
My small group is studying the book of 1 Thessalonians, and we recently landed on these verses where Paul is gushing with love for them, saying they are the reason he will glory in the presence of The LORD! Our group agreed that this is how we feel about our children and those we have nurtured in the faith.
And this is how Concordia feels about our May 2023 graduates! We welcome them all into our growing alumni family.
In a much bigger way, we are God’s glory and joy! He loves us so much that He sent Jesus to die in our place so that we will be forever with Him in His family. Our campus pastor, Randy Duncan, often puts it this way - if God had a refrigerator, your photo would be on it!
Like Paul longed to see the Thessalonians, we long to see our alumni back on campus again! Please save the date and plan on joining us for homecoming on October 21. In the meantime, if your summer plans include a trip through Ann Arbor, I would love to set up a campus visit for you!
God’s blessings,
