Go Orange for Work Zone Awareness

Construction season is on the horizon, and National Work Zone Awareness Week (April 15-19) is a reminder that staying alert and slowing down in work zones can save lives.

If you see orange signs while behind the wheel, slow down and focus on the road. Follow signs, cones, barrels and direction from flaggers to get you through safely. Expect sudden stops and traffic delays.

Always watch out for workers and follow posted speed limits.

Show your support on Wednesday (April 17) by joining us in wearing orange for Go Orange Day! Raise awareness for work zone safety by posting a photo wearing orange with the hashtag #GoOrangeWashCo! We may share your photos to spread the word.
