PFC Welcomes Cuauhtemoc Flores as the new
All Abilities Program Coordinator
The Pickering Football Club is pleased to announce that Cuauhtemoc Flores, a.k.a. Coach T, has been promoted to Coordinator, PFC All Abilities Program. Pickering Football Club's All Abilities soccer programs offer children and youth with intellectual and/or physical disabilities an opportunity to participate in specially designed recreational opportunities.
Coach T has been a staple of our program since 2016 when he first joined us as a volunteer and has grown to become a familiar presence around the field. Outside of his All Abilities role, Coach T has built a strong reputation in sales for Adidas as well as being qualified in massage therapy. In addition to Coach T’s professional background, he is a regular member of Canada Soccer’s National Para Soccer team competing and representing Canada at every opportunity.
“Coach T’s commitment to our program over the last seven years has been unwavering. He has not only built strong relationships with our athletes and staff, but he has also fostered strong relationships with our program families, caregivers, and volunteers. I am excited to see future growth with our All Abilities Program” says Tammy Lyle-Gravlev, the outgoing All Abilities Coordinator.
“All Abilities has been a part of my life for the past seven years and I have grown so much passion and love for this program since starting off as a volunteer back in 2016. Living with a disability myself, being a member of the Canadian Para Soccer Team, and having an educational background in health studies leads me to believe that we can continue to create amazing memories both on and off the field” says Coach T.
Coach T will transition over the summer under the mentorship of Tammy, and will assume his new role at the beginning of September. Please join the Club in welcoming Coach T as our newest member of staff.
