We presented the design concepts for Blanton Street and Kinnaman Road projects to the Board of County Commissioners at their April 18 Work Session. The Board provided us with guidance to continue project design.
We will complete the design of Kinnaman Road Design Option 2, as presented at our open house.
This option includes:
Two eleven-foot vehicle lanes, one in each direction.
Six-foot wide sidewalks on each side of Kinnaman Road.
Five-foot wide bike lanes with an 1.5 foot buffer on each side of the road.
A variable-width landscape strip with storm water treatment between the bike lane and sidewalk on the south side of the road.
A separate project will install a 14-foot-wide multiuse path on the north side of Blanton Street between 209th Avenue and Katie Rose Terrace. That project is being developed as part of the Tualatin Valley Trail Concept Plan.
