Kathryn Burrer Hyer '73


Growing up, it was pretty evident Kathryn would find her way to the halls of Elyria Catholic High School and not only because she could see the school from her house!


After attending grade school at St. Jude, Kathryn continued her Catholic education as a Panther and graduated in 1973.

Alumni Theater


Auditions for this year’s Summer Musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be Monday, May 22 at 6:00 pm.


Auditions are open to alumni, faculty and staff, and students.


Please complete this form prior to auditioning.


Performances will be Wednesday, July 19, Friday, July 21and Saturday, July 22.

Elyria Sports Hall of Fame


Congratulations to Ellen Borowy Casey '81 and the 1979 Elyria Catholic Baseball team on their inductions into the Elyria Sports Hall of Fame. 


As an EC student athlete, Ellen was the Gilgenbach award recipient in 1981 and earned 10 letters in three sports - volleyball, basketball, and track.


At Clarion University, she was the first two-time Academic All-American and their 1982-1983 Athlete of the Year. She was inducted into the Clarion Hall of Fame in 2022. Congratulations Ellen!


The 1979 Inaugural Baseball team was the first in Lorain County to qualify for the state tournament since 1957. Led by Coach Andy Pavlenda, the Panthers made it all the way to the final four. Tom Taylor '79 was named the MVP of the team. 

Class of 1972 Holding Spaghetti Dinner to Benefit Classmate in Need

The Class of 1972 invites you to a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for Jim Kilfoyle '72. Jim lost his home to fire. Due to details of the arson, insurance will not cover the cost to replace. Money raised will go towards building materials as Jim and his brother, Mike, intend to rebuild the home themselves.
