Presentation on Housing Element Next Steps Later this Month

The City Manager and the Development Services Director will present next steps in the Housing Element implementation process during an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 25, in the Los Altos Community Center's Grand Oak Room from 7–8:30 PM. An opportunity for Q&A will follow the presentation.

Agenda Available for Upcoming Hybrid City Council Meeting

The agenda lists all the items to be discussed during the Tuesday, October 10, 2023 meeting. During the meeting, the City Council will discuss a special event policy and appointments to the Joint Community Volunteer Service Awards Committee and the Parks, Arts, Recreation, & Cultural Commission.

Los Altos Joins Community in Compassion Week Volunteering

City staff will join community members from across Los Altos and neighboring cities in actively volunteering during Compassion Week 2023. To further support the meaning behind the event, City Council will present a proclamation championing Compassion Week during its Council meeting this Tuesday.

Compost Station Closing Soon For Season

The City’s self-serve compost station received its final compost deposit for the season. Supply is expected to be depleted within 2 weeks. This pilot program will be evaluated and reinstated in spring 2024. Comments or suggestions are to be directed to recycle@losaltosca.gov.
