The religious leaders of the Jewish & Christian communities of Holliston, Massachusetts, and the Islamic Center of Boston, the Sikh Gurdwara of Millis, the Ramakrishna Vedanta Society of Boston (Hindu), other Islamic representatives, and the Baha'i community together provide opportunities for multifaith and nonreligious neighbors to come together. In doing so, we honor the presence of God through our richness and diversity and help create communities of solidarity and hope.
#Remembering Oak Creek, Wisconsin
August 5, marks the 11th anniversary of the 2012 attack on the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin. On that horrific day, a gunman with neo-Nazi and white supremacist ties murdered six Sikh worshippers at a gurdwara (Sikh house of worship) in Oak Creek, WI.

Numerous others were wounded, and in 2020, a seventh individual passed due to long-term complications of his severe injuries. At the time, it was the worst mass shooting inside an American house of worship in nearly 50 years; today, it remains the deadliest act of anti-Sikh hate in our nation’s history. Since then, countless other communities and their houses of worship have been targeted by white supremacist hate ideology—with deadly consequences.
