Dear Member, Stakeholder, Supporter,
An emotional week at the Club as we celebrated the life of Stephanie Riexinger and the impact she has had, and continues to have across the players and families of our grassroots program. Many of our teams showed their respect by wearing black arm bands, holding a moments silence or taking a knee and we sincerely thank the families and coaches for this show of respect. A simple act, but one that resonated across the Club and made us #PFCProud.

Stephanie's brother-in-law described her four children as "4 bright lights in the distance, pulling people to them, just like Steph". We love that image and we feel it extends across our Club. PFC players are all bright lights that draw family and friends to them. Please take the chance to enjoy every moment with your child, your "bright light", at the field - their time in youth soccer will be over in the blink of an eye!
Looking to the future we have our Women's League1 Ontario Home Opener this Saturday!. Our women's team kick-off Saturday April 30th at 6pm at Kinsmen Turf Field. Our U8 Girls will be player escorts during the opening ceremony and U14 OPDL Girls as ball kids. Please come out and support this new look team and help us continue to build our new PFC Club Culture! League1 is the next step in Ontario's player pathway and the premier competitive league in Ontario. 2022 promises to be the biggest and best season in the league's young history with games now live streamed, expansion teams, and a proven track record for players moving to national and professional contracts.

Logan Learns to Play
Logan longs to play soccer when he sees his classmates playing out on the field. Kicking the ball with his walker seems like a daunting task as he has grown up with Cerebral Palsy. When he is introduced to an inclusive and accessible All Abilities program, he finds himself surrounded by a community of friends, family and fun.

Logan Learns to play can be purchased at the Pickering Soccer Centre or via Amazon Canada for $15.00. Shipping is extra.
