A MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT
Dear Parents & Students,
 
Tuskegee University continues to monitor conditions surrounding the pandemic, the spread of the omicron variant, and the pandemic's effects on the reopening of classes for the spring term.  Classes will begin as scheduled on January 6, 2022, and will be virtual (synchronous) only. 
 
Face-to-face and hybrid classes will resume on January 31, 2022.
 
We have scheduled a Zoom information session on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 7:00 pm CST for additional information on teaching modalities and other mitigation strategies. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend.
 
Classes
 
Students will also receive communications from faculty regarding online courses and laboratory platform delivery methods by Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 12:00 noon CST.
 
Housing
 
Students have the option of arriving for on-campus housing and apartments as scheduled on January 4, 2022, from 8:00 am -6:00 pm. Students must:
  1. Be financially cleared 
  2. Submit a negative COVID-19 PCR test result prior to entering student housing.  

Students may also choose to arrive anytime through January 31, 2022. Students must meet the following requirements before arrival:
  1. Contact their Residence Hall Director to arrange for arrival between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm
  2. Submitted a negative COVID-19 PCR test to reportcovid19@tuskegee.edubefore arrival is approved. 

Before initiating travel, students should contact their residence hall directors to coordinate their arrival. Contact information for key personnel is provided below.
