The Dover Chamber staff invites you to join us at our Chamber 101 program. Take advantage of this orientation session to review your membership benefits. Make sure you are leveraging your Chamber membership effectively! There will be ample time for questions and networking with other members.
Local Expert Series: Sailing the mighty Piscataqua
Monday, August 15, 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Join the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and Great Bay Yacht Club for our August Local Expert Series. Participants will learn about the perfect little catboat designed by Ned McIntosh and enjoyed by families on the Piscataqua for almost 70 years. We will also learn about the challenges presented by the mighty Piscataqua and how respect, knowledge, and a little common sense can lead to a lot of fun on our local waters. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing appropriate for standing outside in the elements. The Local Expert Series is sponsored by Ourea Solutions.
Business Open House at Spring Village at Dover
Wednesday, August 17, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Spring Village at Dover will welcome Chamber members to the August Business Open House! Bring plenty of business cards and enjoy an evening of networking with friends and colleagues. Light refreshments will be provided. Bring your business cards to be entered to win our door prize raffle. If interested in providing additional door prizes for this event, please contact Melissa at 603-742-2218 to arrange.

Dover Historic Walking Tour
Saturday, August 20, 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Dover’s Historic Walking Tour will begin at 9:30 a.m. starting at the Chamber parking lot (550 Central Ave). The tours, led by former Dover Public Library Director Cathy Beaudoin, will explore throughout historic aspects of downtown Dover. The tour costs $10 and will last until roughly 11 a.m.
Volunteers needed for Cochecho Arts Festival!
Friday, August 12, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

The Chamber is seeking volunteers to help sell raffle tickets at the final Friday Night headliner show this summer on August 12! Help to give back to the community while wearing your company swag and enjoying music at the park!
If you can help out, please email Hope at hope@dovernh.org. You will need to arrive by 6 p.m. to help set up for the show (starts at 6:30 p.m.) and we will need your help until intermission (around 7:30 p.m.).

Leadership Seacoast is seeking candidates for the class of 2023

Annually, Leadership Seacoast accepts a diverse group of established and emerging leaders to participate in its seven-month civic engagement program. Participants explore and examine key issues
impacting the cultural, social, political and economic lives of Seacoast residents.
Why should you apply? You will gain a broader perspective of the Seacoast Region and your role in the community and build a lasting network of civic-minded local leaders from your class and over 1,000 program
graduates. You can discover issues you are passionate about and meet the community leaders who deal in those issues daily.
