Give feedback on draft 2023-24 road maintenance project list

Participate in the 2023-24 Draft Road Maintenance Program online open house through April 14. 


The Draft Road Maintenance Program lists proposed maintenance activities for FY 2023-24. Highlights include:


  • 16 miles of gravel road surface stabilization
  • 9 miles of paving performed by Washington County Land Use & Transportation (LUT)
  • 5.04 miles of paving done by contractors
  • 8 major culvert replacements
  • 28 culvert replacements performed by LUT crews
  • 250 miles of sweeping bike lanes, shoulders and riparian management areas
  • 1,800 miles of clearing and trimming roadside vegetation


Your comments will help shape the final project list. We will submit the final 2023-24 Road Maintenance Program to the Washington County Board of Commissioners for action in June.

Comment on projects proposed for the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program. The Oregon Department of Transportation is hosting the following opportunities:



  • Virtual meeting, Travis Brouwer, Assistant Director for Finance, 6-7 pm. April 6.



  • Virtual meeting, Travis Brouwer, Assistant Director for Finance, 2-3 p.m. April 13.

Comment Opportunity

Comment on the I-205 Toll Project Environmental Assessment Report through April 7.


The report identifies possible short- and long-term effects of the proposed tolling project.


A public hearing will be held 3-6 p.m. April 4 (virtual with in-person oral comment opportunity).

WC-ROADS: Projects starting next week

  • Frances Street from Cornelius Pass Road to 74th Avenue; road closure, March 7-April 1, for water supply line installation.

Neighborhood Meetings

Neighborhood meetings, required for many Washington County development applications, can be held online temporarily as per the new COVID-19 Virtual Neighborhood Meeting Supplement.
