Tutoring services are offered to students FREE of charge



Tutoring for all levels of Spanish and all facets of English, from writing to ACT prep are available before or after school. Please contact Ms. Claire Evans and Mrs. Madeleine Heinrich to schedule an appointment that fits your students' needs.


Mrs. Karla Espey will stay after school for an hour each day to help anyone interested in prep for the Math and Science Portions of the ACT.

FACTS Grant & Aid Application


Families who wish to apply for financial aid for the 2023-2024 school year are encouraged to complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Application.

  • The applications need to be started by March 1, 2023 and completed as soon as your family's taxes are completed.
  • We also encourage students to apply for the scholarships that are available to returning students The majority of these applications are due March 1.

NCYC 2023

Elyria Catholic is headed to the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) this fall! NCYC is a gathering of more than 20,000 high school students from across the country. This year, it will be in Indianapolis, Indiana from November 16-18. Students will return home early afternoon on Sunday, November 19. Additional information can be found in the attached registration package. This opportunity is available to all current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Attention Senior Parents/Guardians - Reminder!


This is a gentle reminder, to those families who have not paid the Graduation Fee. Please be aware that the $100 payment is due in full by this Friday, March 3, 2023 so that the student(s) will receive their cap and gown during the Senior Student/Parent/Guardian graduation meeting on May 2.


For your ease, an online payment can be made at elyriacatholic.com/tuition-and-fees. Please note the amount under the miscellaneous fee amount and Graduation Fee in the box beneath that. Thank you for your cooperation.

Junior College Planning Meeting


On March 9 from 6-7 pm please join us in the James E. Terrell Performing Arts Center. Mrs. Brooks, Ms. Gauntner, and Mrs. Faust (our College Now representative) will present information on the college applications and admissions process. It is open only to parents of juniors. Students who are juniors also encouraged to attend. Hope to see you soon!

Navigating Social Media with Teens

The Counseling Department will be hosting the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force on April 18 at 6pm in the JETPAC for a presentation for parents on Navigating Social Media with Teens. Please join us in helping keep your children safe on the internet/social media. This presentation is for parents ONLY. We hope to see you then!

Scholarship Opportunities

Elyria Rotary Club Scholarship


The Elyria Rotary Club is proud to announce the availability of the Elyria Rotary Club Scholarship. This privately funded scholarship will reward a local student who is actively involved in community service and has shown success in his or her academic endeavors. The Scholarship has a total value of $20,000, payable up to $5,000 per year tuition at a baccalaureate institution. In some years, additional one-time smaller scholarships may also be rewarded. The Elyria Rotary Club Scholarship application is due April 21.

The selected scholarship recipient will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in college and advance through higher education. The deadline to apply for The Dan & Mila Reaser Family Foundation Scholarship is March 15.

Chipotle Night is TONIGHT!


The Environmental Protection is holding a Chipotle fundraiser to help raise funds to continue efforts to reduce waste and promote recycling at Elyria Catholic High School, in addition to fund efforts to promote student-led gardening. If you are interested in supporting our cause, or like eating Chipotle, please go to the Chipotle in Elyria tonight, Wednesday March 1 from 4-8pm, with the attached pamphlet, and order a meal for you.


The PAMPHLET must be on your person and handed in at checkout in order for the funds to go to the Environmental Protection Club.

The Marching Band is selling Domino's Pizza cards from March 6-20. With this $15 card, every time you buy a large pizza this year, you get one free. Keep an eye out for the website and help the band buy new hats and plumes. More details coming soon!
