November 2024 Advising Newsletter

WELCOME TO ADVISING SEASON!

Spring Registration for returning students opened on Oct. 28. If you have not already done so, reach out to your students about completing their spring (and beyond) course plans. An easy way to do this is to go to your Advising Hub, scroll down to your caseload, change the "Show" dropdown to the maximum, click the box next to the "Advising Start" column and write your message. After clicking "Send E-mail to Selected" you will need to confirm that you want to send the message. If the message was sent successfully, you should receive a copy in your in-box. For more information, attend the November Advising Lunch and Learn referenced below.

TRANSFER FAIR

The North Carolina Community College Transfer Fair makes its stop at Central Carolina on Nov.6 from 8:45-10:30 a.m. in the Civic Center. Reps from over 20 NC colleges and Universities, including UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State, UNC-Wilmington, App State, Campbell and Methodist will be there. This event is perfect for the undecided student, or the student who has decided but wants more information.

In celebration of the Transfer Fair, wear gear from your alma mater on Nov.6!
