ATTENTION PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
As we see the weather begin to change, we must necessarily prepare for a potential weather incident that would force a school closure. At this time, Trinity is not able to send text messages about such important events unless you opt IN to receive these. Since texting is the primary and most immediate means of notification for most people, we are asking you to FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

If you do not do so, we cannot guarantee that you will receive timely notices of emergency school closures.

This is a reminder that parents/guardians should not drop students off on Lathrop as it causes a danger for students and causes traffic backups.

As the weather starts to change and we see more rain, falling leaves, and fog, and eventually snow, please allow plenty of time to get to school on time. As a reminder, detentions are issued for every tardy and detentions are scheduled for the same day as the tardy. Students are expected to be in first period before 8:00 am with all of their items ready for class.

A Reminder from Dean Carey and Mrs. Zucchero, Attendance Clerk:

Please remember to follow our attendance procedures for Parents/Guardians & Students.  If something necessitates an absence, we ask that parents/guardians observe the following:
  • Call the Office (708) 771-8383 or email attendance@trinityhs.org before 8:00 a.m. explaining the reason for the absence. You may leave a voicemail explaining absence.
  • Early dismissals are strongly discouraged. However, if a student must have an early dismissal, a parent/guardian must call (708-771-8383) or email (attendance@trinityhs.org) citing the reason for the early dismissal request.
  • Late arrivals are strongly discouraged. However, if a student must have a late arrival, a parent/guardian must call (708-771-8383) or email (attendance@trinityhs.org) before 8:00 a.m. citing the reason for the late arrival request.
  • Students must contact individual teachers regarding missed work due to an absence.
It is especially important that we get advanced notice for early dismissals so that we can provide students with an exit pass for their time of departure. When we are unaware of the early dismissal, we have to call into the class and disrupt teaching and learning.

It is also important that when a student is sick in school that they come to the front office to notify us that they are unwell. From there, they can call a parent/guardian to pick them up. We discourage students from calling or emailing directly from class for a parent to pick them up because then we are unaware they are not well and cannot assist them if they become sick.
