Join Us September 15 for CBET Symposium at Gozzo Student Center
To ACPHS Community,

I am very pleased to announce that our Stack Family Center for Biopharmaceutical Education and Training (CBET) will be hosting a symposium on Wednesday, September 15 from 1-4 p.m. in Auditorium 201 in the Gozzo Student Center with industry experts and academic leaders.

The first portion of the symposium will feature three speakers addressing Recent Developments in the Biomanufacturing of Therapeutic Proteins and Vaccines from the perspective of science, scalability and infrastructure. The second part will be a panel entitled Preparing Tomorrow’s Workforce Today. Here is more information on the symposium, including the list of speakers.

I encourage you to attend to learn more about how pharmacy and pharmaceutical science expertise is critical to the growing biopharmaceutical industry. To attend in person, please RSVP using this link. To attend virtually, go to cbet.acphs.edu to watch the event.

CBET is ACPHS’ response to the rapidly growing biopharmaceutical field and the need for an educated workforce, which has been cited as one of the critical constraints to growth of the biopharmaceutical industry. The Center will provide students the knowledge and hands-on experience to bring innovative biopharmaceuticals to patients. Located at the Albany NanoTech Complex, CBET is the first in the nation to be created by a pharmacy college.

I hope to see you there.
