With the rain slowly fading into the distance and the sun this weekend it finally feels like the Outdoor season is upon us.
Staff are hard at work building teams, scheduling games and booking match officials. City of Pickering fields have all been approved for permits and our summer students and volunteer coaches are receiving emails detailing the program content and session plans. We plan to leave no stone unturned this Summer to continue improving the positive experience our players, parents and supporters have at the field.
Uniforms and balls will be arriving this week and families will be notified by their Team Coach when they are to meet and pick them up. Regular communication from our Recreational guru David Lord will be sent to Team Coaches who will in turn communicate with their players. From there the Sports Engine app will be the essential communication tool for team updates, training and game schedules.
Our Competitive teams are also in regular league action now that their season's kicked off. Pickering FC teams play across SIX competitive leagues in Ontario serving the competitive levels of all players. Support for home games is always welcome so please take a look at the full league schedules below. Our new online field booking system, SportsKey will soon be able to show all games, meaning that schedules will be in one central location for parents and supporters.
If you still need more soccer then don't forget our Summer Sports Camp is running again this summer for 6 weeks at the Kinsmen Field Complex. All the details can be found HERE for our Pizza Pizza sponsored camp.
