HUGE THANKS to all of the families who shared their native country's food and cultural information on Monday evening.  Also, thanks to all of the PTSA volunteers who assisted with all of the set-up and organization.  Special thanks to Gina Wells and Karey Sweetman for coordinating this awesome event for all of our families.

Just two quick things this week:

  1. The documentary Screenagers will be shown at Hough on Tuesday, March 3 at 6:30 pm.  This event is free for any families from Bailey, Hough, Cornelius Elementary, JV Washam Elementary, Huntersville Elementary, and Davidson K-8.  The seating will be first come, first served and the doors will open at 6:00 pm.  We will also have a brief Q & A following the one hour movie with a panel of community representatives to answer any follow up questions.  Please note that students at Bailey will also watch the student version of Screenagers on Wednesday, March 4.

  1. Students have taken our second set of Interim Assessments this week in all core subjects and hopefully studied to ensure a good grade on each of these.  Please remember that Interims are counted as formal grades in third quarter.   All students will be required to do test corrections for all missed questions.  However, students scoring poorly on any of these Interims can get up to an 80% upon completion of these test corrections...please encourage your Bronco to do these to ensure nothing less than an 80% on all four.

Thanks and Create a Great Week,

Chad O. Thomas
Principal
