YOUTH ACTIVITIES UPDATE
Interact Club Activities
The Interact Club is a Rotary-sponsored club for young people. Oak Grove's Interact Club has been busy! In December they raised funds by selling Candy Grams. The funds were used to purchase blankets, toys and treats for shelter animals at Animal Friends of the Valley.

In January, the youth made a poster thanking the Doctors, Nurses and essential staff at Temecula Valley Hospital. They are planning a Candy Gram fundraiser in February to purchase a special treat for the Hospital staff. Thank you to ALL ESSENTIAL WORKERS!
MISTT Awards
MISTT (Most Improved Student Tales of Transformation) recognizes youth who have made significant progress in their treatment and education.

MISTT recognized several deserving youth in January. Youth are nominated and recognized by Oak Grove Staff. To share the excitement, Oak Grove invites the youth's family or special guests to attend virtually. Congratulations to all the MISTT winners for their hard work and continued success!

Oak Grove would also like to acknowledge Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club for their ongoing MISTT Sponsorship!
All the Fun and Games
December was all about fun and games in the Dorms. Staff were creative and invented some new activities that have now become a regular occurrence on campus.

Dorm B began Arcade Night where they completely deck out the multipurpose room with lasers and glowsticks, and do a throwback videogame night. This was SUCH a hit they now do every Saturday night. Dorm C did a real-life Fear Factor Night. The boys thought it was the greatest thing ever.

These fun activities and great memories were made possible by donors and those who contributed during the Holidays. Thank you all!
EDUCATION PROGRAM UPDATE
Full STEAM Ahead!
STEAM is back in session after the Holiday break. The first project was creating atomic models.

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) program provides Students with challenging and fun educational activities where they also get the opportunity to work on projects as a team.
