Winter Term 2022
Winter Term is one of the most anticipated parts of the school year. It is a program that runs for three weeks in January, when students have the opportunity to pursue a single class of their choice and put into practice the concept of “depth over breadth.” The one-course structure of Winter Term allows students and faculty to work together even more closely than they do in traditional classes.

Getting Away
One of the great things about the structure of Winter Term is that it gives students the chance to get off campus and explore local communities, other parts of New England, and evening traveling as far away as Roatán, off the coast of Honduras.

Interactive Art
Visiting artist Pippin Frisbie-Calder gave students in the "Environmental Artivism" Winter Term class more than one new way to experience art, with students helping the printmaker hang an exhibit in the Robert Lehman Art Center gallery.

Symposium Wrap-up
Winter Term 2022 concluded with a symposium during which each of the classes hosted an open house to show off all they had learned and created during the intensive, one-course program. The range of topics covered in the 27 classes was impressive to see.
