“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Our campus Lenten cross. Just a few short months ago, this cross was our campus Christmas tree. Christ was born to die for us. For you.
Dear fellow alumni:
We’ve all experienced conflict and strife in our families, at work, in our nation, and in our world. Jesus knows what we are going through. He experienced all of it, all at once, on the cross. He bore the weight of our sin and became obedient to death in order to save us.
Jesus defeated death and the power of the devil, and rose victorious! We cling to the words from St. Paul, “For if we have been united with Him in a death like His, we shall certainly be united with Him in a resurrection like His.” Romans 6:5 ESV
We join together in prayers for peace, and unite our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
God be with you,

Organ renovation nearing completion
Excitement is building in the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, as the long-awaited, much-needed organ renovation is nearing completion. The project is possible because of those who gave during a $100,000 fundraising campaign launched by the Office of Advancement in the fall of 2020. That monetary goal was soon exceeded, thanks in large part to a $50,000 leadership gift from longtime supporters Dr. and Mrs. Karl Kreft. Work is scheduled to be completed later this spring, while looking forward to rededication festivities, including worship services and recitals, in the fall of 2022. To learn more, click here.

What this CUAA student learned on the
way to the national championship
In sports we often talk about a team or athlete having a “dream season.” It turns out athletic training students have them, too! When J’may Simmons, who will graduate in May from CUAA’s master’s in athletic training program, went down to the University of Georgia to be immersed within the Bulldogs football team and UG medical staff, she had no idea the adventure would lead her to the D1 college football national championship. We asked her to share a few things she’s learned on her amazing journey. Take a look here.

Two men and a boat: Reflections on Fishers of Men
The sky, weather and the water join to form a perfect backdrop for the Fishers of Men statue on our Mequon campus. The impression the statue makes and the mood it establishes depend a great deal on its immediate surroundings. Enjoy this photo gallery and reflection inspired by the iconic statue and how it represents what our university is really all about.

Final Thought from
Campus Pastor Randy Duncan

Each morning during the school year, our campus pastor, Randy Duncan, sends out an email full of inspirational thoughts, concepts to ponder, scripture, and prayer requests. We thought we would share some of his thoughts with you each month for us to contemplate.
Final thought: If you woke up feeling weak, remember that God is not, and then trust Him to be everything you need today.
