April 2020
Alumni Events
As you may have heard, in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), all Holy Family-sponsored in-person student, alumni and donor events previously scheduled through May 11 have been canceled or postponed.
Reunion 2020 has been postponed to Friday, October 2, 2020, during Alumni Weekend.

Alumni Weekend will include Reunion 2020 on Friday, October 2, Homecoming on Saturday, October 3, and an Undergraduate Open House on Sunday, October 4.

Please save the dates and encourage your classmates to do the same. If you would like to get involved and serve as a class representative, please let us know.

Together, we can make it the largest Alumni Weekend in the history of Holy Family! 😊

Stay tuned for detailed information and registration for all Alumni Weekend events over the summer.

To protect the health of event attendees and our community from the spread of COVID-19, the difficult decision has been made to cancel Tigers on the Loose 2020, which was to be held on May 7 at the Mütter Museum of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia.

However, fundraising will continue to help make a Holy Family education accessible to all students. Due to the Coronavirus crisis, we anticipate an unprecedented increase in the financial aid need of our students. In the coming months, they and their families will rely on Holy Family more than ever before to help them continue their education.

They Need You!
They need you now, more than ever before. With the impact of COVID-19 and the uncertainties that our students and their families are facing, your support of the Blue & White Fund is critical. Your generosity will truly transform lives by providing our students with the financial aid they need to continue their Holy Family education this upcoming fall, and ultimately, realize their dream of earning a college degree.

"We Are Family."
HFU Responds to COVID-19
Excerpts from Sister Maureen's 3/25 message to the entire HFU community:

"I’m thinking about all of the families connected to our community, and our connections to others across the country and around the world. As new “hot spots” and “stay at home” orders continue to occur, we all have friends, loved ones – and those whom we don’t even know – who need our prayers.  The worst of times must always summon the best in each of us, because we are all connected to the oneness of the human family, and we are all in this together."

Thanks to all of our alumni and friends who have reached out to me directly and also to our team. We appreciate your offers of support and everything you do to enhance student scholarship and advance our University.

  • Middle States Update Holy Family University is actively preparing for the reaffirmation of accreditation by the Middle States Commission for Higher Education (MSCHE), generally referred to as Middle States. This committee has compiled a Self-Study document, which provides evidence of compliance with the MSCHE Standards, reviews the areas of compliance that need strengthening, and makes recommendations for further institutional improvement. All alumni are encouraged contribute to the self-study.
