Destination Imagination is dedicated to teaching students the skills needed to succeed in school, their careers and beyond. Through the program, students use the creative process to turn their ideas into reality and learn invaluable skills through the process including: creative & critical thinking, team building, problem solving, project management, perseverance and self-confidence.
Students usually meet after school (approximately once per week) with their assigned team to work on challenges to prepare for the DI tournament in the Spring. Transportation will need to be provided by the parent/guardian.
Each team needs a parent volunteeror "Team Manager" to meet with the students regularly to practice the instant challenges and the main challenge.
PLEASE CONTACT Ms. DeLong at [email protected] OR 740-833-1405 TO SIGN UP YOUR CHILD.
An Important Message
for Schultz Families:
Your student's safety is our first priority. As a reminder, each morning, students should be dropped off in the loop line - then walk to stand in line in front of the school, while they wait to walk into the building. If you walk your child up to the school, they may only play on the playground while you are there to supervise them. Due to safety and security reasons, students without an adult to supervise them may not play on the playground before school. You may begin dropping your students off at 8:10 am, while teachers are outside to supervise them. If your student eats breakfast at school, they may enter the building at 8:00 am.
Thank you for your support as we work to ensure each child is safe.
