Elizabeth Rose, Fran D’Orazio, Colleen Packer, Shirley Britt, and Kerrianne Brady have been at the forefront of communication with clients and staff. Collectively they have been making sure everything our staff needs to work is accessible. They are making sure clients are aware of the ways to reach us and how to share information with us. They are listening to our clients and making sure they feel as best they can in this unique situation. This team has adapted quickly and implemented new social distancing procedures and have truly done it with a sense of pride, compassion and ingenuity. When you issue as many financial statements and tax returns as we do, and we have these five at the forefront, there is no bottleneck.
Our GAAP team had implemented many paperless procedures, so our Director of Assurance - Matt Boland has led his team to continue to document and wrap up audit and review engagement. The team of Kyrstin Mackrides, Kyle Hartranft, Andrew Racabaldo, Monica DiPaolo, Natalie DeYoung, Rick Higgins, and Cristina Houston have stayed on top of client work and continue to work with an attitude that is remarkable.
Our Director of Tax, Jackie Himes was instrumental in setting up software and procedures from the day she started with us, and her vision has truly been an important part of us managing this situation. Our information flows freely and remotely through our paperless internal operations. The amazing staff of Kim Delany, Patti Hills, Jeff Kim, Chris Abell, Caitlin Sitler and Nick Grasserly continue to prepare and review tax work and communicate with clients in a way that provides some reassurance to them during this time.
David Gibbs, Rich Higgins, Ira Secouler, Craig Pollen, Don Kaiser, Mike Mazur, Gary Williams and I are very fortunate to have the commitment and foresight from our team to navigate these unprecedented times and provide assurance to our clients that we always were, and continue to be, focused on them and dedicated to their success.
A Side Note from Marty’s Team
Let’s not forget that it starts from the top. These last few days have been uncharted territory for everyone.
Marty has been at the forefront. He takes action and his team delivers. Marty, of course, is a mover and a shaker within the accounting industry and is admired by many professional organizations due to his experience and knowledge. Marty continues to step up. His employees’ safety and clients’ needs are always a first priority. The McCarthy & Company team continues their loyalty and dedication because that’s what they get from Marty.
