NEXT: Unzip Your Genes to Reveal the Past and Future

Almost 130 people joined last week's virtual Research in Action as Michael Maniaci, Ph.D., assistant professor in the department of psychology in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science, talked about the social connections and the importance of close relationships for health and well-being — even during a pandemic. Watch previous Research in Action presentations here.

Join us this week as Raquel Assis, Ph.D., talks about how a person's genes can reveal information about their past and future. Assis is an assistant professor in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, and a fellow in FAU's Institute for Human Health and Disease Intervention. Register here.
Andrew Furman, Ph.D., professor in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, recently authored a a book called "Jewfish."

The book was published by Little Curlew Press.
